Poker

In the poker game, each player is dealt five cards. If one of these five cards has a higher value than the other, they form a poker hand. The highest five-card hand wins. Otherwise, a tie is declared and the pot is divided as evenly as possible. An odd-numbered chip is awarded to the player with the highest five-card hand.

When the cards are dealt, the player to the left of the big blind is the first to act. He or she may check or raise the bet. The dealer then “burns” a card from the top of the deck. This hand is the “community” hand. The dealer deals the first three community cards face-up.
